Profilo competenze: 

Professore di Genetica Umana presso l'Università di Roma "Sapienza", svolge attività di ricerca nell'ambito della genomica delle popolazioni e dell'archeogenomica, con particolare focus sulla storia genetica dell'Italia antica. È autore di numerose pubblicazioni su riviste internazionali riguardanti l'analisi di DNA antico e moderno, inclusi studi sulle popolazioni dell'età del Ferro e sull'impatto della romanizzazione sul patrimonio genetico della penisola italiana. Ha coordinato e partecipato a progetti interdisciplinari su larga scala, integrando dati genetici, archeologici e storici per la ricostruzione delle dinamiche demografiche del passato. La sua attività scientifica si caratterizza per l'impiego di approcci bioinformatici avanzati e per la collaborazione con enti di ricerca nazionali e internazionali. È inoltre impegnato nella formazione di studenti e ricercatori nelle discipline della genetica delle popolazioni, dell'archeogenomica e dell'analisi di dati genomici complessi.
