Sono un antropologo biomolecolare con oltre dieci anni di esperienza nello studio delle popolazioni del passato attraverso l'analisi integrata di DNA antico, proteine antiche e dati archeologici. La mia ricerca si concentra sulla ricostruzione delle dinamiche demografiche, delle interazioni tra esseri umani, ambiente e patogeni, e sull'evoluzione delle malattie nel lungo periodo. Dopo il dottorato presso l'Università di Roma Tor Vergata, ho svolto attività di ricerca presso l'Università di Copenaghen come Marie Curie Individual Fellow e successivamente presso il GeoGenetics Centre, contribuendo a numerosi progetti internazionali di alto profilo. Attualmente sono un RTDb presso l'Università di Roma Tor Vergata, dove coordino un gruppo di ricerca dedicato all'applicazione di approcci genomici e biomolecolari allo studio delle popolazioni antiche. La mia attività combina approcci interdisciplinari, collaborazioni internazionali e sviluppo metodologico per comprendere i processi biologici e culturali che hanno plasmato la storia umana.
